Davids Birthday or "the digital age starts now"



I met David the first time on a cold windy and rainy day in Paris....It must have been around February or March...there was still the smell of snow in the

air.....the streets were wet and shimmering, in a way like they normaly just use to do at night here.....in Paris!


Unexpected invited to visit him by his friend called Ruzica! She told me how excited she got, seeing his work for the first time and that I have to see it too.


The door opened into an athmosphere of a comfortable rooftop downtown french "mansarde"appartment, cosy and family-friendly...I cant exactly say why I felt
suddenly arriving into a family as well.....kind of strange for the first visit and this is just to understand, when one knows how hard it is for artists to find an

artist "avec les mêmes idées"....

In the center of it all was a beautiful forecast into the cour intérieure from the rooftop and the athmosphere of people having found together
in there intension and creativity, aside all differences....what else can art be ?


I found its cool ...when David started to tell me about his artistic heritage, the uncle who was fashion Fotographer and another of his closest family

members, having been a grandiose Mens outfitter and tailleur, dressing also the famous French Fashion Designers of its time in un complet sur mesure...


How could he know that I am an heir of that tradition as well? Proud keeper of the secrets of "the art de apiéceur"...
I felt like having found a missing link...the art and the fashion was divided so long ... because the doors were kept too open .... the few of us left in

time and space with the priciples of fashion, although all this modern technolygy should have made it easier.....

But it still seems, what has to be kept secretly, will stay a secret, equal what new features we explore to communicate!


So in this moment I recognized, that "The home of an artist is not the place were he is born,
or the family he lives with (of course it can be as well and will be), much more it is the idea, the inner perspective he carries around with himself and that only can
be explored when there is enough "confiance" to communicate
.....
